Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, assessing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and contributing to the enhancement of internal controls within the firm. This role requires a unique blend of analytical skills, a keen eye for design and process, and an understanding of the legal and financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct internal audits of financial and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas of non-compliance.
* Review and analyze financial records, legal documents, and internal policies to ensure adherence to established standards and regulations.
* Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and programs.
* Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations for corrective actions.
* Collaborate with legal and finance departments to gather information and implement audit recommendations.
* Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and propose improvements.
* Utilize your B.Des background to assess the user experience and flow of internal systems and documentation, providing feedback for optimization.
* Stay updated on relevant legal, regulatory, and industry changes affecting audit practices.
* Perform ad-hoc investigations and audits as required.
