Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Bank Teller / Clerk with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Com degree and have a strong understanding of financial transactions and customer service within the context of a large organization like IRCTC. You will be responsible for handling daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing excellent service to our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash and cheque deposits and withdrawals accurately.
- Manage daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient float and balancing the till at the end of each day.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information on IRCTC's financial services and procedures.
- Verify customer identity and transaction details with a high degree of precision.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, including data entry and reconciliation.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and visitors.
- Adhere to all company policies and security procedures.
- Support the finance department with administrative tasks as needed.
