Recruiting for Collection / Recovery Manager - Infrastructure, Transport & Real Estate Team

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Collection / Recovery Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic Infrastructure, Transport & Real Estate team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing debt recovery processes, minimizing bad debts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of financial recovery principles within the Indian context.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies for outstanding debts within the infrastructure, transport, and real estate portfolios.
- Monitor debtor accounts and take proactive steps to prevent delinquency and minimize potential losses.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations into debtor circumstances and assess recovery options.
- Manage and guide a team of collection specialists, providing training and performance feedback.
- Liaise with legal counsel and external agencies when necessary for debt recovery actions.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, aging debt, and recovery rates for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian debt collection laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Analyze trends in collections and identify areas for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
