Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Commodity Dealer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneshwar. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commodity markets and a B.Sc degree, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to managing commodity transactions. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement strategies and ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials essential for our design and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor commodity market trends, price fluctuations, and global supply/demand dynamics relevant to our industry.
- Execute commodity trading strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of raw materials.
- Analyze market data and prepare reports on commodity price forecasts and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brokers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of purchase for various commodities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to align commodity strategies with business objectives.
- Manage inventory levels and optimize stock to meet production demands while minimizing holding costs.
- Identify opportunities for hedging and risk mitigation strategies.
