Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EDA Tools Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to join our Electronic Components / Semiconductors team in Coimbatore. This role is ideal for recent B.Tech/B.E. graduates looking to kick-start their career in the semiconductor industry, focusing on the development, integration, and support of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and flows. You will work closely with experienced engineers to ensure the efficient and effective use of EDA software for chip design and verification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) used in IC design and verification.
- Support design and verification engineers in the effective utilization of EDA tools and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Tcl, Python, Perl) for automating EDA tool flows and tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDA tool usage and performance.
- Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new EDA technologies and features.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external EDA vendors to address tool-related challenges.
- Contribute to the documentation of EDA tool flows, processes, and best practices.
- Gain hands-on experience with front-end and back-end design flows.
