Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Engineering Supervisor with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems and other relevant infrastructure within our project sites. This role requires a practical approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in diverse community settings. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, but post-graduation is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide field technicians during the installation and commissioning of solar power systems and related equipment.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work, adherence to safety standards, and project timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar systems, electrical components, and associated infrastructure.
Manage inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring timely procurement and efficient utilization.
Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and repair records.
Collaborate with project managers and community stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and organizational policies.
Assist in training junior technicians and local community members on system operation and basic maintenance.
