Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Equity Research Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic Automobile Team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets and the automotive industry, with a postgraduate degree in any relevant discipline. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to support investment decisions related to the automobile sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental analysis of listed automotive companies, including financial statement analysis, valuation modeling, and competitive landscape assessment.
- Develop and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, etc.) to forecast company performance and derive intrinsic valuations.
- Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory changes impacting the automotive sector in India and globally.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports, investment recommendations, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on competitor activities, product launches, and technological advancements within the automotive industry.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to contribute to investment strategy.
- Respond to ad-hoc research requests and provide timely insights.
