Role Summary:
HDFC Bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Engineer with 0-2 years of experience and a BBA/BBM degree to join our Corporate Services Team in Nasik. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of banking technology infrastructure at our branches and service points. You will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to guarantee service continuity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level on-site technical support for banking hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues related to ATMs, POS terminals, and other banking equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on equipment to prevent failures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or relevant support teams.
- Document all service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in the system.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with HDFC Bank's IT policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and manage their usage.
- Communicate effectively with branch staff and customers regarding service status and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the technology team to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
