Role Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Head - Media Relations, with 0-1 years of experience. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree looking to kickstart their career in corporate communications within the dynamic packaging industry. You will support the broader communications team in managing media inquiries, drafting press releases, and building relationships with media contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in monitoring media coverage and industry trends relevant to the packaging and containers sector.
* Support the drafting and editing of press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
* Help maintain and update media contact databases.
* Participate in media outreach activities, under supervision.
* Coordinate logistics for press conferences and media events.
* Conduct research on potential media opportunities and journalists.
* Liaise with internal teams to gather information for communication purposes.
* Contribute to social media content creation and scheduling, as needed.
* Assist in tracking and reporting on media relations activities and outcomes.
