Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interaction Designer with 0-1 years of experience to join our Government / Public Administration team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) who are passionate about leveraging technology to improve public services. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and policy experts to design intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences for government initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive interface designs and user flows.
Utilize your knowledge of LLMs to conceptualize and design AI-powered features for citizen-facing applications.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards and government guidelines.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) was established by the Government of India to facilitate and accelerate the implementation of the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). NeGD plays a pivotal role in strategizing, developing, and implementing e-governance projects across various government departments and agencies. Its mission is to make government services more accessible, efficient, and transparent through the use of technology, thereby empowering citizens and improving governance.
