Role Summary:
Heliwise Aerospace is seeking a motivated individual with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree and 1-2 years of experience to join our team as a Legal Rights - Other specialist. This role is crucial for navigating the unique legal and intellectual property landscape within the defence and aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design-related legal frameworks, intellectual property rights, and regulatory compliance, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will play a key role in safeguarding our innovations and ensuring adherence to all relevant legal statutes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the identification, protection, and management of intellectual property (IP) rights, including patents, copyrights, and trade secrets, specific to design innovations in aerospace.
- Conduct research on legal precedents and regulatory requirements impacting the defence and aerospace sector in India and globally.
- Support the drafting and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to design collaborations, technology transfer, and licensing.
- Monitor and advise on compliance with relevant defence procurement policies, export controls, and aerospace manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure design processes and outputs are legally compliant and protectable.
- Analyze potential legal risks associated with new product development and design iterations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures for legal compliance and IP management.
- Engage with external legal counsel and government agencies as required.
