Role Summary: Semco India is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer with a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree to join our team in Ahmedabad. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with 0-2 years of experience who is eager to contribute to the efficient operation and maintenance of our advanced manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our production machinery and supporting the overall maintenance strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including electronic assembly machines, test equipment, and general plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective repair solutions.
- Support senior engineers in planned maintenance activities, equipment upgrades, and new installation projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts consumed, and downtime. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Conduct basic inspections and tests on machinery to ensure operational efficiency and identify potential issues.
