We are seeking a motivated and innovative Manager - R & D with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic Furniture & Furnishing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Pharma degree and a strong interest in applying scientific principles to product development within the furniture sector. This role is crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the quality and performance of our new product lines. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating user-centric and sustainable furniture solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities for new furniture products, focusing on material science, ergonomics, and user experience.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to translate concepts into viable product prototypes.
- Analyze and evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of furniture materials and designs.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory standards in furniture and materials.
- Develop and implement testing protocols for new product development.
- Assist in the formulation of material specifications and quality control procedures.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
