Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Mining Geologist with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. This role will involve contributing to geological assessments and resource mapping initiatives that support broader societal and environmental objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of geological understanding and design thinking, gained through a B.Des education, to approach challenges from an innovative perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and execution of geological surveys and exploration programs.
* Analyze geological data, including core logging, rock identification, and structural mapping.
* Contribute to the development of geological models and resource estimations.
* Utilize design thinking principles to identify innovative solutions for geological challenges.
* Prepare technical reports, presentations, and visualizations of geological findings.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geological insights into project planning and execution.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in geological exploration techniques and technologies.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during field operations.
