Recruiting for Power Plant Technician - Consumer Electronics & Appliances Team

We are seeking a diligent and technically inclined Power Plant Technician with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. This role is crucial for the efficient operation and maintenance of our power generation facilities, ensuring a stable and reliable power supply for our manufacturing units. While a background in electrical engineering is typical, we are specifically looking for candidates with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree who possess a strong understanding of operational regulations, safety compliance, and contractual obligations related to industrial power plants. This unique combination of legal knowledge and technical aptitude will be valuable in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of power generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and operate power plant equipment, including generators, transformers, and control systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of power plant machinery and electrical systems.

Adhere to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to power generation, including permits, licenses, and environmental impact assessments.

Assist in the review and understanding of contracts related to power purchase agreements, equipment procurement, and maintenance services.

Document operational data, maintenance records, and compliance reports accurately.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and legal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure project compliance.
