We are seeking a motivated individual with a "Any Postgraduate" degree and 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team as a Shipping Deck - Other. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials within our railway operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless logistics and contribute to the overall success of our shipping and transportation functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent postgraduate to gain hands-on experience in a critical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of shipping operations for railway cargo.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, logistics, maintenance) and external stakeholders to resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including documentation and reporting.
- Support in the implementation of new shipping procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the shipping department.
