Role Summary:
TCS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reefer Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Reefer Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of refrigeration systems and components for our software product offerings. This role requires a strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and electrical systems, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and reliability of cooling solutions integrated into our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop refrigeration systems and components for software product integration.
- Conduct performance analysis and simulations to optimize cooling efficiency and energy consumption.
- Select appropriate refrigerants, compressors, heat exchangers, and control systems.
- Develop and implement testing procedures for refrigeration units and integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to refrigeration performance.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
