Job Description
Role Summary: The Refinery Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations within the company's refinery facilities, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for all refinery equipment, including processing units, utilities, and safety systems.
Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and supervisors.
Oversee the planning and execution of scheduled preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance activities.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Implement and manage a robust spare parts inventory system.
Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure seamless operations.
Manage external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
