Refinery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Refinery Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our VFX and animation rendering pipelines. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient resource utilization, maintain high-quality output, and drive continuous improvement in our production workflows. This role requires a strong understanding of both technical processes and people management within a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the rendering farm and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal rendering speeds.
• Oversee the scheduling and prioritization of rendering jobs to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with production, IT, and engineering teams to integrate new technologies and workflows.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and troubleshoot any rendering-related issues.
• Manage a team of technicians and supervisors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, including hardware, software, and staffing.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in rendering technology.
