Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refinery Operator to join our client's team in the oil and gas sector. The Refinery Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of refinery equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control refinery processes using control systems and instrumentation.
Operate and maintain various refinery equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and distillation columns.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Respond to alarms and process upsets, taking corrective actions as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
Maintain accurate operational logs and reports.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
