Job Description
Role Summary:
As a Refinery Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various process units within the refinery. This role requires a strong understanding of chemical processes, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to monitor and control complex equipment to ensure optimal production and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor process equipment such as pumps, compressors, distillation columns, and heat exchangers.
- Control process variables (temperature, pressure, flow rate) to maintain desired operating conditions.
- Perform routine checks and inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
- Respond to alarms and process upsets, taking corrective actions as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and reports.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and emergency procedures.
- Assist in the startup and shutdown of process units.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
