Role Summary: The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that Paytm's operations and services adhere to all relevant Indian laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly within the FinTech and Payments sector. This role requires a deep understanding of financial regulations, risk management, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory landscapes in the Indian FinTech and Payments industry.
Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate regulatory risks.
Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and propose corrective actions.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry associations on behalf of the company.
Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Stay abreast of best practices in compliance and risk management within the FinTech sector.
