Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Release Engineer with 1-3 years of experience and an M.Tech degree to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and automating the software release process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software for our automotive products. This role requires a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and scripting. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline our release engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate and manage the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement and manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies.
- Scripting and automation of release-related tasks using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Monitor release performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the release process.
- Ensure adherence to release management best practices and standards.
