Release Manager

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Release Manager to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of our animation and VFX project releases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with production teams, ensuring timely delivery of assets, managing version control, and facilitating smooth transitions between production stages. This role requires a strong understanding of the animation and VFX pipeline, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed release schedules for all projects.
• Coordinate with department leads (e.g., modeling, animation, lighting, compositing, VFX) to ensure timely delivery of assets and milestones.
• Implement and manage robust version control strategies for all project assets.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between different production teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and bottlenecks in the release process.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Manage the final delivery of assets to clients or internal pipelines.
• Maintain accurate release documentation and logs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Release Manager, Production Coordinator, or similar role in the animation or VFX industry.
• Strong understanding of the animation and VFX production pipeline.
• Familiarity with project management and asset management software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
