Role Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our Research & Development team in Pune. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in material science and product development within the building materials sector, who possesses practical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach. You will contribute to the development of new products and improvement of existing ones, working closely with our manufacturing and quality control departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formulation and testing of new tile bodies, glazes, and surface treatments under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Conduct practical experiments and trials in the R&D lab, meticulously recording data and observations.
- Support the troubleshooting of production issues related to material properties and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in material sourcing and evaluation of new raw materials.
- Maintain R&D lab equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate aesthetic concepts into tangible product prototypes.
- Prepare basic reports on experimental findings and contribute to team discussions.
