Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Reservoir Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing oil and gas recovery from existing and new reservoirs, applying advanced engineering principles and simulation tools. You will collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to develop and implement effective reservoir management strategies. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment within the EdTech sector, contributing to the development of cutting-edge educational content related to petroleum engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze reservoir performance data (production rates, pressures, fluid properties) to understand reservoir behavior.
- Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, Petrel RE).
- Perform material balance calculations and decline curve analysis.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with drilling and production teams to optimize well placement and completion strategies.
- Contribute to the development of educational modules and content related to reservoir engineering principles for our EdTech platform.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in reservoir engineering and EdTech.
