BYJU'S is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. While primarily an education technology company, we are expanding our wellness and employee support initiatives. This role will involve providing specialized respiratory care and education to our employees, ensuring their health and well-being. The Respiratory Therapist will play a crucial role in promoting a healthy work environment and offering support for respiratory-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as spirometry and blood gas analysis.
- Operate and maintain life support equipment, ventilators, and other respiratory devices.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to therapy.
- Respond to medical emergencies requiring respiratory support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in respiratory care and technology.
- Develop and deliver workshops or informational sessions on respiratory health for employees.
