Retail Cashier

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and customer-oriented Retail Cashier with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree to manage financial transactions at our retail touchpoints in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will bring analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all cash handling operations. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer transactions, including payments, refunds, and exchanges, using our POS system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment with utmost precision and security.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts with transaction records and prepare daily deposit reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash counter, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve payment-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
- Assist with inventory management and stock checks as required.
- Utilize analytical skills developed through an M.Sc. to identify discrepancies and suggest process improvements.
- Collaborate with store management to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
