Retail Store Auditor

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Retail Store Auditor to join our team. The Retail Store Auditor will be responsible for conducting regular audits of our retail outlets and partner stores to ensure compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and brand guidelines. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our retail presence and identifying areas for improvement in store operations, merchandising, and customer experience within the printing and publishing retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site audits of retail stores, including company-owned outlets and distributor/franchisee locations.
- Evaluate store layout, product placement, visual merchandising, and inventory management against established standards.
- Assess adherence to operational policies, including sales procedures, cash handling, and customer service protocols.
- Verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and report on stock aging and potential pilferage.
- Check the condition of store facilities, equipment, and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with branding guidelines, promotional displays, and point-of-sale materials.
- Document audit findings accurately, including photographic evidence where necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing observations, non-compliance issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow up on previous audit findings to ensure corrective actions have been implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with store managers and regional sales teams to discuss audit results and implement improvement plans.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in retail auditing and store management.
