Role Summary: The Retail Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of a retail store, leading a team of sales associates, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership and sales skills to drive store performance and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve individual and store sales goals.
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, resolving customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
- Train and mentor new sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze reports, and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is clean, organized, and appealing.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security regulations.
