Job Description
Role Summary: The Rig Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the leather processing and finishing rigs, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth functioning of our production lines and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality leather products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of rig operators and technicians.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and identify any deviations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and equipment malfunctions.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on the shop floor.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance of rigs.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources and materials.
- Train and mentor new rig operators.
