Risk Consultant

Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Risk Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across our import and export operations, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the company's assets and reputation. This role is crucial in supporting our expansion into new international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all aspects of the import/export supply chain, including logistics, customs, finance, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies tailored to the agricultural export sector.
- Monitor global market trends, geopolitical events, and economic factors that could impact business operations.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to address identified risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, sanctions, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and deliver training programs on risk awareness and management for relevant staff.
- Investigate and analyze incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in risk management.
