Risk Consultant

Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Consultant with a B.Pharma background to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. This role will focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within our petrochemical and plastics operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. You will leverage your scientific understanding to analyze potential hazards and develop effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing processes within the petrochemical and plastics manufacturing units.
- Analyze chemical processes, material handling, and storage procedures to identify potential safety, environmental, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans, including emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian and international regulations pertaining to chemical safety, environmental protection, and product stewardship.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and operations, to integrate risk management into daily activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments, incident investigations, and mitigation effectiveness for senior management.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively update risk management strategies.
- Utilize your B.Pharma knowledge to understand the toxicological and pharmacological implications of chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
