Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Risk Control professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures for our petrochemical and plastics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quantitative risk assessment, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine enterprise-wide risk management strategies, policies, and procedures, with a specific focus on the petrochemical and plastics sectors.
- Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and strategic risk, leveraging advanced analytical techniques.
- Design and build sophisticated risk models and simulations to forecast potential impacts and identify risk mitigation opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze key risk indicators (KRIs) and provide regular reports to senior management on risk exposures and control effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various business units to embed risk management principles into decision-making processes and operational activities.
- Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in risk control and apply them to the company's operations.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs on risk management to relevant stakeholders.
