Role Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the bank's risk management and compliance functions. The individual will assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks across the organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining the bank's operational integrity and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze potential threats to the bank's operations and assets.
- Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Prepare reports on risk exposure, compliance status, and mitigation strategies for senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to embed a strong risk and compliance culture.
- Support internal and external audits related to risk and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging risks and regulatory changes impacting the BFSI sector in India.
- Participate in the development and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Assist in the investigation of compliance breaches and policy violations.
