Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and report on potential risks across various business operations, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare risk reports for senior management, highlighting key risk areas and proposed action plans.
- Collaborate with different departments to foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management relevant to the gems and jewellery sector.
- Assist in the development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Manage and maintain risk registers and documentation.
