Role Summary:
BYJU'S is seeking a meticulous and analytical Risk Modeler with a strong understanding of legal frameworks to join our team in Nasik. This role is crucial for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across our educational product offerings and operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal acumen and quantitative skills to develop and implement robust risk models, ensuring compliance and safeguarding company interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and implement quantitative risk models for various business areas, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risk exposures.
- Interpret and apply relevant legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g., data privacy, consumer protection, intellectual property) to risk assessment and model development.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate the impact of potential adverse events.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, product, and business teams to understand risk appetite and integrate risk management strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on risk assessments, model performance, and mitigation strategies for senior management.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing risk controls and recommend improvements.
- Stay abreast of emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in risk modeling and legal compliance.
