Safety Consultant

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Consultant to oversee and enhance safety protocols across our operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement strategies to foster a robust safety culture within the organization. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders in the iron and steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections of plant facilities and work sites.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
3. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
4. Ensure compliance with all national and local safety regulations (e.g., Factories Act, OHSAS/ISO 45001).
5. Investigate safety incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
6. Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, communication, and leadership.
7. Advise management on safety best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Manage and maintain safety documentation and records.
