Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Consultant to develop and implement comprehensive safety protocols and risk management strategies for our agricultural operations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and stakeholders involved in our farming and processing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the agricultural sector.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of farms, processing units, and equipment to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Assess risks associated with agricultural operations, including pesticide handling, machinery operation, and fieldwork, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian safety regulations, environmental laws, and industry best practices.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Advise management on safety-related matters and contribute to the development of a strong safety culture.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
