Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and legally astute Script Editor with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Thiruvananthapuram. The Script Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining written content, particularly scripts for marketing campaigns, video content, and social media posts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal and brand guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and principles, especially as they relate to advertising and consumer protection within the beauty and personal care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and edit scripts for marketing videos, social media content, influencer collaborations, and website copy to ensure clarity, conciseness, and adherence to brand voice.
Analyze scripts for legal compliance, including but not limited to, advertising standards, consumer rights, intellectual property, and data privacy regulations relevant to the beauty and personal care sector in India.
Liaise with legal and marketing teams to ensure all content is accurate, factually correct, and free from potential legal risks.
Provide constructive feedback to content creators on script structure, flow, grammar, and legal implications.
Maintain a style guide and ensure consistency in tone and language across all written materials.
Conduct legal research as needed to support content development and ensure compliance.
Assist in developing and updating legal disclaimers and terms of use for various content platforms.
