Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Search Engineer with a B.Sc. degree and 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated search functionalities and algorithms that enhance data retrieval and user experience across our engineering and construction platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust search solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize search algorithms and data structures for large-scale datasets.
- Develop and maintain search infrastructure, including indexing, querying, and relevance tuning.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate search capabilities into various applications.
- Conduct performance analysis and identify bottlenecks to improve search speed and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in search technologies and machine learning, and apply them to enhance our search solutions.
- Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to evaluate and improve search result relevance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to search performance and functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for search systems.
