Role Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Search Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Search Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing search functionalities and algorithms to enhance the discoverability of information within our internal systems and customer-facing platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of search technologies, data structures, and information retrieval principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable search solutions using technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar.
- Develop and refine search algorithms, ranking strategies, and query processing techniques to improve relevance and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to understand search requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor search system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Implement and manage indexing pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and freshness.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze search metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in search technology and information retrieval.
