Second Officer / Mate

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Second Officer / Mate to join our growing team in Surat. This role is crucial for overseeing various operational aspects, ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management within our furniture and furnishing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree and 2-6 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse and logistics department.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accuracy of records.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of furniture and furnishing products.
- Implement and maintain efficient operational procedures to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a productive and collaborative team environment.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
- Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special projects related to inventory and logistics.
