Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Second Officer / Mate with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Guwahati. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing operational logistics and administrative tasks within our building materials division. The ideal candidate will be a recent MBA/PGDM graduate eager to apply their business acumen to a practical, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of day-to-day operational activities.
- Support in managing inventory levels, stocktaking, and ensuring efficient material flow.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, records, and documentation.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all operations.
- Liaise with internal departments (sales, procurement, production) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the office.
