Security Auditor

Role Summary:
GE is seeking a diligent and experienced Security Auditor to join our global team. The Security Auditor will be responsible for assessing and improving the effectiveness of our information security controls, policies, and procedures across various business units. This role is crucial in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of GE's sensitive data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive security audits of IT infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
- Evaluate compliance with internal security policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and regulatory requirements.
- Identify security vulnerabilities, risks, and control weaknesses through testing, interviews, and documentation review.
- Develop detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for remediation.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to implement and track corrective actions.
- Perform regular follow-up audits to ensure the effectiveness of implemented controls.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of security audit methodologies and tools.
