Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Engineer/Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Dream11. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our cutting-edge fantasy sports platform and its vast user base. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, incident response, and security architecture, with a B.Tech/B.E. degree being a prerequisite. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure the highest levels of security across our systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools to identify potential threats and breaches.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on applications, networks, and infrastructure.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint security solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and integrate security into the SDLC.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in security awareness training and educate employees on security best practices.
- Manage and respond to security-related inquiries and escalations.
