Security Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Security Officer to join our Surat operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal frameworks, risk management, and security protocols, particularly within the BPO/Call Centre environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience to oversee and enhance our physical and information security measures, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures in line with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Manage and monitor information security protocols to protect sensitive client and company data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or breaches.
- Investigate security incidents, breaches, and policy violations, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws, regulations, and industry best practices pertaining to data privacy, cybersecurity, and physical security.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Train and educate staff on security awareness, protocols, and best practices.
- Manage the security budget and vendor relationships effectively.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and legal developments impacting the BPO industry.
