Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Captain / Master Mariner with 3-4 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our Investment Banking division in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role involves supporting senior management in evaluating investment opportunities, managing portfolios, and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments, including financial statement analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
Support the valuation of companies and financial instruments.
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies and provide regular updates.
Conduct research on industry trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscapes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Liaise with legal, accounting, and other external advisors.
