Role Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical recent graduate with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our innovative startup as a Chemical Engineer (Refining). While the core degree is in Computer Applications, this role leverages your strong problem-solving, data analysis, and logical thinking skills to contribute to our refining process optimization and software development initiatives. You will work closely with experienced engineers and data scientists to understand, model, and improve our refining operations through software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis of refining process data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement software tools for process monitoring, control, and optimization.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand chemical engineering principles and their application in refining.
- Design, develop, and test software modules related to process simulation and data visualization.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues for refining applications.
- Prepare reports and presentations on process performance and software solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in chemical engineering software and data science.
