Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cluster / Hub Manager to oversee operations within a designated geographical area for Indian Railways in Lucknow. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent B.Des graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in managing logistical hubs, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring efficient service delivery within a complex railway network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operational management of the assigned cluster/hub, ensuring smooth functioning of trains and related services.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to punctuality, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and implement improvements.
- Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct site visits to understand ground realities and identify areas for operational enhancement.
- Contribute to data analysis for identifying trends and proposing data-driven solutions.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Assist in managing inventory and asset allocation within the hub.
